In 1258, a small community of Cistercian monks arrived on an island in Lake Parstein. Today you can lead them.

Chorin: Ora et Labora follows the real history of Kloster Chorin in Brandenburg: from wooden huts on Mariensee island, through one of the finest Brick Gothic churches in northern Germany, the Reformation and the romantic ruin, to its rescue by Karl Friedrich Schinkel and the summer concerts of today.
