Version 1.7.2: The words match the picture
October 24, 2026
Since version 1.7.1 we checked every event, notice, tooltip and spoken line against what the miniature shows, and fixed every place where they disagreed.
- In winter the fishermen wait on the bank instead of standing on the frozen ponds, and the farmers leave the snowed-in garden.
- Rain fills the ponds and the nets come in full only where there are ponds and someone is fishing, by day.
- After 1542 the texts, tooltips and statistics no longer speak of brothers. No prayer row stands outside at night, and the barn church stays dark.
- Painters come to the ruin from the time of Gilly’s drawings (1797), not right after 1542.
- In winter today’s Chorin takes down the summer bunting and furls the café’s parasols.
- Visitors and the echoes of your decisions arrive by day.
- Spoken lines about clay, nets and the field stay silent in winter or on the island.
- The labour tooltip gives the right numbers, and the church tooltip no longer names a date the sources don’t give.
- A page of the site that doesn’t exist now shows the abbey and the way back.
