Version 1.10.4: Guests who walk away, and calmer storms
October 30, 2026
Since version 1.10.3 we watched the abbey once more in real time, through evenings, nights and snowstorms. Here is what changed.
Guests
- A guest who came in the evening now walks out of the picture before nightfall instead of vanishing at 21:00.
- The round button over a guest stays close to him, so you can tell whose it is.
- On the island in winter a guest walks across the frozen lake; no boat is rowed through the ice.
- A guest on his way down the road passes in front of the carts, not through them.
Weather and night
- When the weather changes by day, the people stay in sight while the picture fades into the new sky.
- The night procession is no longer shown twice when the weather changes during the walk.
- In a snowstorm over the frozen lake the net's crew waits indoors, and nobody sits in a boat frozen into the ice.
- A hot night glows softly over the horizon instead of a flat orange band.
- The bell at night brings only what the night itself makes.
Smaller things
- People away now have words everywhere (on watch at the gate, at the dyke, carrying the stores); some showed a raw text before.
- The "+N away" tag says who is away, where and when they are back.
- A choice that waits as too late today shows the time it will have at dawn.
- The night notice no longer says Faith ×0 while it promises the Vigils, and feasts call to work only by day.
