Version 1.14.0: The art book, and guests who keep their word

November 5, 2026

Since version 1.13.1:

  • The art book. Every era of the chronicle in pictures: the miniature in its seasons and hours, the people of each era, their portraits and the chronicle’s illustrations. Open the art book.
  • A guest who asks for something never gives the same thing back, not even as a blessing. Every visitor stays the same length of time, and his button appears once he has reached his place.
  • Pilgrims, travellers, tour groups and school visits now give a fair share of what the abbey earns, in every era, instead of a few coins beside an income of millions.
  • A traveller between 1542 and 1815 wears the dress of his time; the top hat comes only after 1816.
  • At night a ready goal can be planned for the dawn, like a building or a small work.
  • A building’s card says what it brings now, not one level’s base rate.
  • Notices are shorter and say only what happened. A brother sent alone is spoken of in the singular, and unrest on the border says what it slows down.
  • Fog drifts slowly past, snow and rain fall faster during the faster night, and the brothers come and go one by one.
  • On smaller laptops the tabs and the goal’s numbers fit, and a low screen shows one notice at a time.
  • The game no longer reloads by itself when a new version arrives: an Update button appears, one tap applies it, and otherwise the new version is simply there the next time you open the game.
  • Sharing the game no longer gives a blessing: sharing should be your own wish, not a reward.

Thank you for playing. If you notice anything odd, write to support@choringame.com.
