Version 1.10.0: Everything you do, seen in the picture
October 29, 2026
Since version 1.9.0 we have played a lot ourselves, slowly and with little input, the way many of you play, and we fixed every moment that did not add up.
Everything you do, in the picture
- The east wing can be seen now: its tall roof behind the west wing, a ruin from the 1770s on and a new roof in 1832. The scriptorium has its dormers, the cloister opens more arches as it grows, and the brewhouse steams by day with its barrels at the door.
- The second mill turns with the channel that feeds it, the new ponds lie on the meadow, and buildings gain small details as their level rises.
- Every option of every chapter and abbot’s decision leaves its own mark, and so does every small work. A repair or stores laid in show for a while, and improvements appear on the Lands map.
Day and night
- Work for the day ends by nightfall. Hands from the village, carriers, people sent on errands and visitors no longer carry on into the night. At night such an answer waits for the dawn and says so; given late in the day, the card says “(until nightfall)”. Only the sick and a watch go on through the night.
Guests leave when the story says
- A guest you give a bed to (you are asked only from the afternoon on) sleeps indoors and leaves in the morning, walking out of the guest house. A guest you turn away, or give bread, a blessing or a guide, goes on his way at once.
- A visitor who comes with a choice stays only for an answer he takes part in.
The first ice
- Once every winter, early in it. Before it, the lakes and ponds freeze only along the banks; with it they freeze over, and a thaw opens them again. The texts and the fish traps follow the ice.
Three pieces of music for every era
- Each era now has three pieces with their own instruments, modes and tempos. They take turns as you play, with a short quiet breath of nature sounds between them. Era I is no longer the recorder all the time: you hear the harp, chant, the vielle and the gittern too.
Smaller things
- A new version no longer interrupts you with a bar when you open the game or come back from another app. It comes in by itself the next time you leave the game. Only during long play does the bar appear, and one tap applies it.
- The daily alms is now a fair small gift instead of minutes of income.
- Without the full chronicle, the abbey now rests at the end of era I: you can buy the full chronicle and go on, or begin the chronicle again for free.
- On phones, the tooltip of a badge you tap (the season badge, a “+N” badge) now stays open until you tap again.
Already with you since 1.9.0
- One switch for music, sounds and voices, and the voices are back on phones.
- The tooltip of every resource says where it comes from, what multiplies it and what it is needed for now.
- The “+N” badges stand in the top right corner of the picture.
- A visitor whose time is over walks away instead of vanishing, and the night office walks at a calmer pace.
- The Amtssee is named on the Lands map.
- Notices show their whole text on phones, and the site loads faster on phones.
